Hi,
I've recently joined Plus Net, happy so far! Other than the fact that when I joined up I did so through Quidco (cashback website). Unfortunately, the order wasn't tracked automatically, I guess I didn't clear my cookies thoroughly ???.
Anyway, I asked Quidco to manually track the order, and they keep asking me for my customer account number starting BP*****. Two staff members at Plus Net have confirmed that customer account numbers aren't used. Quidco have replied saying that other customers have been given a customer account number, and that they can't progress my request without it.
If I had hair I'd be ripping it out. Can anyone shed any light???

Sounds like Quidco could be talking about an order number instead – have a look at this page and see if there's anything applicable; I've got one starting with BP showing in my account.

Well, technically the CSC bods are correct - Customer numbers aren't used, but the Order number is used in it's place.

I would have hoped that when a user was asking for a number beginning BP they would have recognised what was needed, or that they'd all been told that when Quidco ask for a number this was what was required. As ever it seems that you get more sense out of the regulars on these forums than you do from contacting CSC. They may have got the numbers up but there's still a long way to go!
