Hello
Can someone look at the above please as a matter of urgency.
I have been invoiced  for fibre, caller display & plusnet weekends for 28/5/2015 to 27/06/2015.  My service with PN was taken up by another ISP on 28/5/2015.  Please issue correct bill within 24hrs or DD will be cancelled.

It appears that notification didn't come through as expected.
Since posting, our finance team have picked up on this for you and are putting the relevant paths in place to resolve this for you. More info is on ticket 104834879.

I have Plusnet & my new ISP taking payment the same day....  Give me strength. Cry
It is a good job I have not yet bought the replacement (a Zoostorm A8 7600 quad core PC) for my 6yr old PC 2.8ghz intel dual core  from Ebuyer!!!
Plusnet have said they will arrange a refund - perhaps they could arrange some compensation as well!!!!

I'm not sure we can sort compensation out - but we will fix the problem as soon as the DD clears.

The DD shouldn't have been issued in the first place. Angry  I even have an email from the MAC team to say I was due a refund of 67p.

You're absolutely right, it shouldn't have been taken anyway. Unfortunately, we can only refund it once it clears, but our billing team are keeping an eye out for that and will refund everything necessary at the earliest opportunity.

Look forward to receiving an update on the 8th June & refund on the 9th?
All my kit (Router & TV trial kit) is bagged up to go back once confirmation of the refund is made.

PLUSNET - How about some action on this please - you owe me, so please refund (with compensation).  I should not have to wait another 48hrs since the ticket was released from hold, just to get my money back!

Coming up to 72 hours without a peep form Accounts.  I have even noticed your system has already picked up that the next bill is due in 18 days time.....  Sad Angry Cry

Sort of success, my account got cancelled, no historic information to view & no way to track whether Plusnet actually refunded the DD they shouldn't have taken in the first place!

I've replied elsewhere but the refund is in progress, it was submitted yesterday afternoon once the payment had cleared.
Former Plusnet Staff member. Posts after 31st Jan 2020 are not on behalf of Plusnet.

Probably too late now but for anyone else in similar position it's probably much quicker to get a refund from your bank due to an erroneous DD payment.
