I've checked with ofcom - if you are mid contract and a price increase is incurred you are within your legal right to leave. I shall be re-assessing mine...

Hi there.
That's correct. If you notify us within 30 days of receiving the price refresh comms, we'll waive any early termination fees from your contract. It's worth noting that a cessation fee of £30 may still apply depending on how the line is taken over.

With that said, if you would like to discuss a new deal with us I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Options Team by calling them on 0800 013 2632. At the moment there's absolutely no call queue and they're here until 8pm.

They didn't appear too keen on any retention offer, when I phoned.
That was in spite of or because of me explaining why. Possibly a lost cause.
