Product Upgrade

Hi I been with plus net now for maybe 6 years maybe more
I really like plus net the best ISP I ever been with.and I pay direct debit £14.99 a month
I was looking on the site before I went to bed at the packages and I seen one "Unlimited Broadband" for £9.99
At the moment I think I am on a boardband plus package it been so long and I think my useage is 4GB a month well that what it used to be years ago
anyway I liked the look of the Unlimited Broadband and was maybe thinking of swaping cos I do use it a lot and play a few games
How whould I go about this I am not very good with all the technical stuff and more than likey end up paying for twice Smiley
also whould I also have to pay the "£25 one-off activation fee required"
Any help be helpfull thanks.
Sorry about my bad spelling

Re: Product Upgrade

Go to https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=myconnection and click on Product Change in the top menu
You don't need to get a new router unless you want one
There is no charge for the change

Re: Product Upgrade

Hi thanks for the reply Oldjim so I just goto that link and select the product I want, will that then replace my old one, I only ask cos I am usure about setting up and don't want to make a mistake and end up paying for two products.

Yes, but the change won't actually happen until your next billing date.

Re: Product Upgrade

To confirm the change is scheduled properly you can check closed questions at https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=search (click the Go button to list these for the last 7 days). You should find you have a closed service notice dated today that will say something like
Service Notification
3:51pm, Thursday 3 Jan 2013
Broadband product change scheduled successfully
From: Extra
To: Plusnet Unlimited (Contracted)
This change will take place on the next billing date, 2013-01-XX 00:00:00
