Priority Traffic Worth It?

My wife told me when she signed up yesterday she was offered a priority traffic service for an extra £5 per month, what exactly does this entail? Faster speeds or something else?
Is it worth it?

This is the Pro addon which can be activated at any time. Details of this are given on the website here http://www.plus.net/addons/pro/.
If you use the comparison tool at http://usergroup.plus.net/newprodcomp.php and select your product (eg Plusnet Value) and the Pro equivalent (Plusnet Value Pro in this case) you will get a side-by-side comparison of the traffic management policies.
Note that Pro does not directly affect latency but might do so indirectly through changes on other protocols. It affects priority only on your own connection, not against other users.

Thanks for the reply Great links explains everything great. I will wait till we get activated and then weigh it all up from there, there could be some plus's to us taking this add on.
