I've been paying £7.99 a month for some time on 4 Oct the payment taken was £9.49. Has there been a price rise ?
I've gone back through emails from PlusNet but can't seem to find one about a price increase, would if and when an email notifying customers of a price rise was sent out?

The intray is empty...so no email from PlusNet.
I also checked my PlusNet webmail account for any emails addressed to "Postmaster" nothing apart from monthly bill notifications.

If as claimed there's been a price how come My Products show a price of £7.99 not £9.49?
I've just been checking PlusNet 'upgrades' to PlusNet Essentials (no contract or phone) compared to my current product it appears exactly the same but costs £1 a month more. Why does PlusNet keep inventing 'products' rather than just good old fashioned honest price changes?

Sorry for any confusion. Your broadband service is billed at £7.99 per month, the additional £1.50 is a fee for not using Direct Debit.

That's right, however, as per Service Notice: SN169608475 that's on your account, there was a £1.50 increase in your broadband cost from 01/10/2013 if you went over to one of our newer products or took Home Phone with us, the prices are charged differently.
