My friend is being harassed by plusnet. They have tried to charge him for a service that was cancelled MONTHS AGO, then admitted the charge was erroneous, and then sent a collection agency after him. He lives in canada now and has so since January. If he decided to move back to the UK his credit score would be damaged by this, yet all his possible methods of communication are met with brick walls or silence.
He called customer service where they admitted the charge was a mistake. They admitted it and seemingly all was well. Then after he got an email from the collection agency, he contacted them and they then doubled down on the charge and said he had to pay it. This is a ridiculous run about.
