Plusnet still billing / taking payment for Broadband despite leaving

Hi

I moved away from Plusnet over a month ago (to EE).  All smooth - I could see what looked a final bill (a correction / credit) in Member Centre.  However, I received an email confirming a new invoice for this month and when I checked in Billing it looks like Plusnet started a Broadband contract despite EE completing the migration.  I am being billed and Plusnet are taking direct debit payments.

I have tried calling this morning but after 1 hour on the phone have resorted to signing up here to hope someone can check and resolve the issue.

I would appreciate if the account can be closed and monies owed refunded.

Many Thanks

Re: Plusnet still billing / taking payment for Broadband despite leaving

Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear we're still billing you for a service after you've left.

I've raised a ticket with our cancellations team now to provide a refund of all monies owed, and then close your account. We'll need to wait until the direct debit clears the recently generated invoice first though.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Hi

Cheers Gandalf.  These things happen and I appreciate the help.

Will keep an eye on things to make sure they progress as expected once the current invoice payment clears.

Regards

Hendon
