Re: Plusnet ,slow after closing account

I can see why people go to other providers after a year
After five years with plusnet ,I get no customer service
My account should be closed and a letter sent saying my account is closed
Not having to follow up in a forum no one answers
Don't plusnet work 7am to 10 pm seven days a week ?

Re: Plusnet ,slow after closing account

Appreciate that you're frustrated, though in the interest of myself and other customers being able to understand the issue it may be best to confine your comments to one post where possible.
I've gotten your account closed and actioned the necessary refund for you. It should go back to your Direct Debit, which can take anywhere up to two weeks to arrive.

I am cancelling my dd has u have took out my monthly payment in advance

Would this not prevent refund via the DD route?

Re: Plusnet ,slow after closing account

It's not been cancelled by OP yet, so I've gotten it in there.
My bad, probably should have clarified that  Roll_eyes

Can u tell me why did I get a email saying my account was reactived ,after paying my dd on 21 Sept
When u know that I was closing my account ?
Like I said I have been with plusnet for long time and waiting for support since the 15 th sept with answers
I have cancelled my dd hasn't said u was taking another payment out of me on 25 th
I would like to know why it was reactived ,as not missed payment in account
I see u have now cancelled my account ,so this is only way I can reply

Re: Plusnet ,slow after closing account

Hi SkyNews2010  :),
I have the same problem. It looks like this is an ongoing issue with Plusnet lately. I left Plusnet on 25/09/15.
On 29/09/15 I received an email saying my account has been reactivated after I have paid an outstanding balance Shocked  Considering that I have a Direct Debit set up and my last payment was taken as usual on 25/09/15. Also in that email I was informed that £9.99 will be taken on 02/10/15 !? Instead of the refund I expect  Cheesy
Tried to reply to the email, no chance. I will have to chat online again, as I did today and the advisor Liam has been very helpful. Hope to get this mistake sorted out.
My advice to you is  do the same- chat online. You'll get your answers straight away.
Regards.
