Plusnet contract about to expire, can I sign up to a new supplier now?

My Plusnet ADSL broadband and phone package expires on the 14th of this month. I found a deal from Now broadband, offering fibre and phone calls for just £23 per month.

Normally, it takes around 10 to 15 days for broadband to be transferred, so I'm wondering do I have to wait until the 14th, or can I sign up to Now broadband today, without facing any penalties from Plusnet?

Thanks.

@AgentMildew .

You can sign up now. You pay for line rental and broadband a month in advance so you have already paid your last contracted month.

@AgentMildew  I have nothing to do with Plusnet (other than using their Broadband service) 🙂

Can I ask who the deal is with and why your not staying with Plusnet?
