Plusnet billing ignoring maximum monthly extra?

I have a maximum extra monthly spend set at £15.00.
My account states that billing will be taking an extra £20.00 from me this month.
Do billing simply ignore the maximum monthly spend that we set? Crazy

Re: Plusnet billing ignoring maximum monthly extra?

What product are you on,? You may save quite a bit of money by switching to the one of the unlimited  packages, starting from 9.99 for adsl and 19.99 for fibre,

Re: Plusnet billing ignoring maximum monthly extra?

Thanks for the suggestion Mike.
I don't wish to upgrade as I'd lose the small discount that I still have for another 4 months.
Also, I don't usually use so much. I was backing up an old laptop to the cloud, earlier this month. That's why my usage was so massive.

Hi photoretoucher,
Is it still showing as set to a maximum of £15.00 in the member centre ?
Either way, I will have a look at your account in the morning and see if I can see what is going on.

Re: Plusnet billing ignoring maximum monthly extra?

I've had a look over your account for you and replied to your ticket.
The £15 cap is set correctly and it has only charged you an extra £10 this month on your bill.
I'm not sure why it's showing on the maximum monthly spend page that its charging you an extra £20 (Thank you for the screenshot) but this definitely isn't on your bill.
