Plusnet Cashback Cheque Bounced

I recieveda £50 cashback cheque from Plusnet for signing up. However, a few days after depositing the cheque I recieved a letter from my bank saying that the cheque was unpaid.

 

The stated reason being "Payment  Stopped - Awaiting Confirmation - Please Represent".

 

Has anyone else had this, and can help?

Sorry to see this, I've raised this with our billing team to investigate further.

We'll update you within the next 5 working days.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

I am not surprised. I received a cheque from Plusnets repeated failings and incompetence and it bounced.

Not a very trust worthy organisation.

Hi,

 

I recieved the cheque in the post on Monday and went to deposit it yesterday.

 

This second cheque has now bounced.

 

Is there anything we can do? Also why has this happened twice now? It seems like plusnet is trying to get out of giving the cashback that was promised when I signed up... This was the only reason I chose plusnet over the other providers in my area.
