I get charged an extra £1-50 a month for paying by credit card.
From midnight tonight, there should be a limit imposed to nothing beyond the 'actual cost' by the commencement of the Consumer Rights (Payments Surcharge) Regulations.

The BBC is reporting that this should be pennies for a debit card and no more than 2% of the value of the transaction for a credit card.
How is Plusnet responding to this ?

The official Plusnet response will be that the £1.50 IS NOT a "credit card surcharge",
but a "non Direct Debit surcharge" to cover the cost of chasing non payment by methods other than direct debit.
