PlusNet REWARD CARD transfer to bank

Hi,

Newish customer to PlusNet, and received/activated my reward card today...

Wondered if anyone knows whether I can transfer my PlusNet Pluscard (MasterCard) balance to a bank account.
I have a everyday Santander account with a visa card which I use online and in shops.

Just thought I'd be more convenient instead of using this card separately.

@sunlich I'm sure you realise the answer to your question is NO you cannot transfer the card to a bank account. You should be grateful you got a card at all, a lot of customers have endless problems just getting a card issued. Why not just use the card.🤔

Thanks for letting me know.
I didn't mean any offence.
I just wanted to see if I could add an amount to my bank inorder to buy something that'll cost more than I've got on the card.
I have no probs using separately.

I have seen 1 or 2 posts about probs, and did leave some info that'll help others with when they get the application email, and about the activation code.etc.

( I'm autistic and joke about things to myself, mad mad world of covid and useless leaders is enough to drive anyone insane)

Just a quick question about this forum.
I'm fairly new to forum use, especially this one.

Unrelated to my original post in this thread.

Just about the I marked this topic as FIXED, but not quite sure what it does.
I know it goes straight to the fixed.... Post that I chose to prime as the RESULT of ANSWER. For this thread.

Is there anything else that's useful to know. I'd can it undone and does it lock the topic etc.

This may seem sense but I'm just curious to know anything else of significance for FIXED option.

Hi, and welcome to the forum.  🙂

A 'Fix' doesn't lock the topic, nor can it be undone, except by a moderator.

In the example in this topic, the fix will be credited to RealAleMadrid. Together with date of registration, total post count and number of 'Thanks', this will determine his forum rank/status, shown below his avatar.

'Thanks' are given by clicking on the thumb icon to the left of the 'Reply' button. That can be undone by clicking the icon again.

I used my card as part payment for glasses at Asda and the rest on a different card. I've used other prepaid cards as part payment for shopping at other supermarkets otherwise it's very difficult to spend just the amount loaded on the card. Never tried it for internet shopping but guess it may be possible.

Thanks for the reply. I am done with my PlusNet reward card now. I've used it in stores food shopping , and online shopping. eBay and 'world of books' online purchases.
Already spent virtually all £75.00 that was on it. Spent £74.96 leaving just 4pence remaining on the card. Hehehe 😅

Think I can throw it away now. Wasting a valuable 4pennies may seem a little wreckless, but there you go. Hehehe

Just a little extra knowledge for anyone who a card of this type...
Looked up the regulations of using these cards, and you cannot get cashback from stores, or withdraw from ATMs.

Perfectly well suited for store shopping and online purchases.
