Please help. Account closed!!

I've been experiencing billing issues since my fibre upgrade, but have always paid my bill. I got an email today from plusnet reminding me to pay my bill, but when I logged in to my plusnet account it says my account is closed. How did this happen?
I tried calling support, but wait times are well over an hour. Any help or insight would be very much appreciated
