Phone Bill Query

I have a query regarding some transcations on my phone bill. According to the last bill I was charged for various reverse charges call. Firstly I would like to know how a reverse charge call can cost so much and secondly, my daughter accepted the call and is obviously not the bill payer so the call should not have been put through. I realise the second point is probably out of your control but I am not happy at the cost of these calls.

Re: Phone Bill Query

This is probably the basis http://www.bt.com/pricing/current/Inland_Operator_boo/2-1114_d0e1.htm and from a pay phone it is horrendously expensive
I don't know what Plusnet actually charge

Re: Phone Bill Query

Hi ftoomsh, we apply a very small markup to operator-connected calls based on the wholesale cost. As the wholesale cost depends on many factors, we can't publish a price for them. With regards to the issue of a non-bill-payer accepting the charges, I can't comment because it's a legal issue.
