My son thought he had closed his account when living in Norwich, he has now moved to Japan, last week post arrived from his old address, saved up since the end of February, among it a demand for a small balance but then another one where £30.00 has been added, I tried to pay it but because you need to speak to the account holder I can not do that!! all I want to do is pay the bill, for heaven's sake, how can my son speak to you from Japan on a mobile phone? can he skype call you and why did he not get any emails to his Hotmail account
Fixed! Go to the fix.

Sorry to hear of the problems your son is having with closing his account.
From overseas, I'd recommend contacting us on 0330 123 9197. Whilst that's a geographic number, I'd advise he checks with his mobile provider or Skype to make sure the call costs aren't unreasonable.
Having said that, mind private messaging me his account username so I find out what's happening?

his user name is [Removed] and the overdue letter had account ref [Removed]

From the looks of it, the balance has been forwarded to a collection agency.
If you've received a letter regarding it, have you tried contacting them?
