Overcharged!

I just switched from an old limited connection to unlimited.
I am in a Market 1 area.
Broadband only.
The PlusNet switching offer was clearly stated as costing £19.49pm and this was witnessed by another.
The confirmation screen showed £19.49.
The View Your Products screen is currently showing Plusnet Unlimited (Contracted without Phone) at £19.49.
I have £1.75 referral discount.
I expect to pay £17.74pm.
Instead I am going to be billed £22.74 which makes the basic charge £24.49!
As the difference is exactly £5 I suspect this may be a one off switching charge that wasn't made clear.
Will someone please clarify what this £5 is, please.
TIA

Re: Overcharged!

Hi there,
I've had a look in to this and the cost for your service is as you thought it would be, £19.49. The extra cost is due to going over your usage allowance before you switched to Unlimited, this is a cost of £5 for an additional 5GB of usage.
Future months won't have this charge, so the amount will be as you predicted.

Re: Overcharged!

Of course, Chris!
Thanks - that cost is the reason for switching.
