Overcharged due to new contract not updating

Hello,

I updated my contract on 15th April however I have been overcharged and there is an error on the contract renewal email. Please help

This happens often, as you pay one month in advance you have probably been charged at the full rate after your contract ended. This additional payment will be deducted from your next bill. You don't decribe the error in the contract letter, remember that there was a £3/month across the board increase authorised by Ofcom last month. Might be best to give PN a ring.

I have been paying the out of contract price for months as I was unable to update it until last month so I don’t think this is due to the price increases. The contract that I upgraded to on 15/04/2025 was for £28.99 ,. However I have been charged £45.96.
When I click the contract link this is what I see:
