Out dated banner ads

I see that the banner ads on my site are still reading 8mb
I looked to see if there were new banners showing the correct amount but all still show the old amount.
I think if Plusnet got their act together and updated them we referrers and Plusnet could all be doing a lot better

We still offer speeds up to 8Mb so I'm not sure what the problem with these is?

Hi there.
I think, like Chris, that I'm scratching my head a bit on this one.
We provide up to 8mb ADSL products and don't offer anything else just yet. What am I missing?
I'm all for improving things for our referrers but this one has me a bit lost.

Re: Out dated banner ads

Would the OP be talking about allowances rather than speeds and getting the mb's and gb's confused?
Just a thought!

Re: Out dated banner ads

Just a thought, but maybe the OP is confusing 'up to 8Mbps' speed with the old BBYW Option 2 limit of 8Gb.
Head scratching can result in baldness if it goes on for too long.

Grimme beat me too it, but the warning about head scratching still applies

Lol. I've little enough hair left already so advice appreciated and taken on board Smiley
I think that the OP is confusing usage allowances with connection speeds tbh. Or thats how it appears. Easy mistake to make. Smiley

Re: Out dated banner ads

I thought it had gone up from 8Gb the 15Gb. Can't get out of the habit of using the free overnight data time though.

Re: Out dated banner ads

Now we have established what the problem was... is there any news on updating the banner ads?
I don't use them, so no idea if they are still out of date. I'm guessing the Option 2 banner was saying 8GB included data a month. It clearly should be saying 15GB included data a month.
Have they now been updated correctly? Anyone know the answer?

Re: Out dated banner ads

Unless I'm missing something, the current banners relate to synch speed, not usage allowance and talk about ... 8mb not GB.
What have I missed?

Re: Out dated banner ads

My mistake.
I read the above discussion to be the OP making a mistake only in their describing, of what was a genuine problem. Whereas actually they made the mistake they made was in reading the correct banners, so therefore falsely reported the problem that didn't exist? Is that correct?
I thought the problem existed, but was described badly....
If there never was a problem, then no changes need to be made! That explains everything!
I bet trying to explain myself, I just made everything harder to understand for those who already understood it!
