I just went to transfer some money from my bank inPlusnets direction
& I see the gremlin(s) have been fed after midnight & escaped again  Cheesy Grin
I was faced with

What damage did the gremlin(s) do this time  Shocked Lips_are_sealed Wink
I'll have to try later when the Gremlin(s) have been re-captured Tongue

As per the service status (http://usertools.plus.net/status/archive/1402300037.htm) this was part of a planned release.
Everything has been up for a couple hours now so you can throw money at us Cheesy

Cheers Scott
Funny enough I just logged on
However unless the bank has an app for that & can honour your request, it'll be a bit hard to throw it at you Tongue
Otherwise it'll be a smooth transaction (hopefully)
However along the way I did encounter 2 different pages with similar address however 1 had a #1 at the end of it & the continue button failed to work
http://failed.billing.plus.net/apps/payment/failed#1 took me to this page

Then I had http://failed.billing.plus.net/apps/payment/failed which took me to

Is there any need for the 2 different pages for the same thing ?Huh

Hi TORPC,
As far as I can see the page with the  #1 at the end looks like it was whilst you were logged into the member centre whereas the one without the  #1 looks like you weren't logged in.
Not able to suggest any other difference - if the continue button doesn't work then try clearing cache and cookies and try it again if this happens again.

Cheers Linn
What are the reasoning for different pages, for the same end goal ?Huh

Not entirely sure, TORPC. I'm guessing it's because if you're already logged in you don't want to see a screen that says "log in and pay".

Or could it be a re-direct from the Direct Debit page that one is forced to see with their card details already in the filled in fields, for all & sundry to see when 1st. logged in to the member centre.
Next time I'll try & remember to grab a screenshot

The direct debit page shows less than half of your bank details so it isn't really there for "all and sundry" to see your bank details.
I suspect what Linn has said is correct regarding the two pages.

Re: Ok which gremlin is the culprit now :P lol

Cheers Scott,
Showing any card details when they not required, is in breach of security protocol (In my / anyones book(s))
I have already chossen to pay the extra £1.50 for my preferred choice of payment to you, therefore (Why am I paying for the DD page to be thrust in my face)
My preferred choice out of the options that PN so kindly provides, should not be attempted to be overridden, by forceful tactics
I get the reminder emails / recently texts alerts, & you have never had to dispute me not ever paying you
Ok in all fairness you did set up my connection 6 days earlier than the stated over the phone billing cycle arrangement (not my mistake)
The only time any bank details should actually be shown,

1. When adding / Updating a card
2. When confirming to pay the bill
Not on the 1st page after logging in to the Member Centre
I managed to get the screenshot

I am so glad I do not have to use an open to the public place IE: a Library, if / when my internet connection goes down

I don't see fields for cardholder's name, address or CVV number...  As it stands the details are useless to a 3rd party.

Re: Ok which gremlin is the culprit now :P lol

They are not useless to a 3rd party, especially if hacker(s) only wants them bits of info that actually show,
You are unable to see, the data that does show, as I have clearly redacted it.
Please forgive me for wanting to protect the security of my card
I personally know people that were careful with their card(s) & the details (yet they still got compromised) after hacker got hold of the details & went on a spending spree, granted the hackers were arrested (not heard anymore as case is still pending)
If it is ok for you, then fine as that is your prerogative
