Notice to take payment that is not due

Hi,
I've just picked up an email from PN that is an Advance Notice of Direct Debit in the amount of £12.99 to be taken on or after the 8th of October.
I am not a customer and in fact PN likely owes me a small amount in refund. My account, both phone and broadband, ceased with you on the 25th of September. I'd appreciate it if someone could sort this out and ensure PN does not attempt to take undue monies from my bank account.
Thanks.

Re: Notice to take payment that is not due

Hi Razer,
Sorry about this. I've informed our Billing team of your services migrating away - it seems that the account hasn't been closed down and as such the requested payment has been processed incorrectly. Our Billing team will follow this up shortly.

Re: Notice to take payment that is not due

Thank you for the small refund received on the 6th of October. I would like to question, however, how the billing department considers that the correct refund of all my charges (line rental, caller display, BB service) equals £1.70 for the ten day period I am due back.
Thanks.

Re: Notice to take payment that is not due

Hi Razer,
This refund was actually issued on the 2nd, but took a few days to reach you. The matter is still due to be picked up by our billing team. Sorry for the delay.

Re: Notice to take payment that is not due

Here we are one month after my service with PN ceased, and sixteen days after PN have taken the £12.99 from my account - and STILL the matter is not rectified. Of course it isn't, I'm an EX-customer, and it speaks volumes about how much PN care about ex-customers. Really PN, not encouraging me to return to PN in the future. NOT AT ALL.
With all politeness, please get this sorted! This is only going to further my justifications for leaving the 'service' in the first place.

Re: Notice to take payment that is not due

Not a complete solution of course, but if PN have abused a direct debit your bank should refund you immediately on demand and take the matter up with the drawer.
Of course your outstanding problem with PN still needs to be resolved, but you can get a refund and prevent any other debits by contacting your bank.

Re: Notice to take payment that is not due

Hi Razer
I'm really sorry for these issues. I've now closed the account and refunded the £12.99 overpayment.
This will be back with you in approximately 5-7 days.
Thanks for your patience and I wish you all the best for the future!

I repeat. What about the other refund amount I am due. I am still waiting.

Re: Notice to take payment that is not due

Do I have to be rude to have this properly taken care of? I do not want to go down that route, thanks.
I am still waiting for the full and proper refund. A very BAD show for PlusNet to completely ignore people, especially when they owe those people money.

Take it to the small claims court.
Let them argue with PNs billing 'system'.

Re: Notice to take payment that is not due

I've dropped a ticket on your account with what I believe is the remaining refund amount due. Unfortunately as the direct debit is cancelled the refund will have to be via cheque.
