Non Direct Debit Processing charge during switch

Hi,

I'm posting here because support tickets are apparently no longer a thing plusnet does. Maybe someone knowledgeable or a member of the support team can advise me.

I have been billed £1.50 for 'Non Direct Debit Processing charge' presumably due to me switching current accounts. As I understand it, plusnet should have had continuous direct debit instructions. Is this something plusnet will likely refund or should I be chasing my bank?

Thanks

Re: Non Direct Debit Processing charge during switch

I would take this up with Plusnet - as you say, they will have had an authorised direct debit throughout, that's how the switch process works. The problem is entirely Plusnet's because their antiquated systems can't cope.

Fix

Welcome to the community forums @lokikali.

Sorry to see you've incurred a non-dd processing charge due to switching bank accounts.

Leave this with me and I'll make sure it's refunded back to you given the circumstances.

Thanks for your patience.
