No .pdf extension on downloaded bill

Hi

Now that Plusnet have fixed their billing system and are producing regular monthly bills - I've had 3 so far - I've found there is a bug when downloading the bill. A file called $STANDARD is downloaded but as it has no suffix, it can't be opened normally.

The fix is to rename the file adding a .pdf suffix, so that it can opened with a PDF reader.

Simple thing to fix, and I'm surprised Plusnet haven't fixed it already, but perhaps they are not aware of the fault?

Hey Plusnet, please be aware of this fault and fix it ASAP !

Thanks

Roger

Oh no, I've just found out this fault was logged twice in September last year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. Peter6000    Minor quibble: PDF billing title shows as "$STANDARD"    11-09-2018 11:20 PM

There goes my hope of a simple bug getting fixed quickly.

A month rolls by, and the fault is still not fixed.

Can you give me an official 'Question' or fault reference number for this particular fault please?

Hi @rogerthomaswhit

I am sorry that this is still effecting you, I assure you this is being worked on by the relevant team to arrange the resolution.

Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to provide a specific reference relating to this issue as this is an internal systems issue, we will update you further when more information is available.

Once again I do apologise for any inconvenience that this is causing.

Hey @rogerthomaswhit,

I'm sorry you've not had any updates on this matter just yet.

In all honesty we are still working on our billing system by priority of issues, as Warwick mentioned we'll update you should we receive news in regards to a fix for this but from what I can see you are able to view your invoices which is great news.

Thanks.

@rogerthomaswhit

How do you download the bill?

If I view the bill then right click on it and choose Save As then it can be saved as untitled.pdf or anything else you want to name it.
