Re: No internet since Wednesday: Non-Payment Splash Screen preventing access

Could you try logging in to the router and hitting 'disconnect' wait 30 seconds and connect back up?
Looks like the reset of the router happened too quickly for our side to notice the connection had dropped and assign a new IP address, the current connection is showing as online for 22+ hours.

Do you have a static IP address? If so, no amount of rebooting the router or disconnect/reconnects is going to get you a different one...

I'm afraid I have no idea,  I was just doing what the customer service staff asked!

assuming the op is managing to use their connection to post here, they aren't on a static IP.

Re: No internet since Wednesday: Non-Payment Splash Screen preventing access

Actually paid to use BT Fon wifi instead - a hotspot service.  I cannot use my plusnet connection at all and I expect to be compensated by PN for the inconvenience of having to pay for another service.
I'm really unhappy with PN to be honest and lack of any tangible updates or ETA of this being fixed.  About to phone them again....
ETS - Just spoke to PN; same as ever, person on phone has "Never seen this before, it's a problem with their system etc".    He also just admitted that no-one from the networking team has even picked this up yet and that he is forwarding this now!    I have no issue at all with the customer service team,  they are super polite and easy to talk to but the way this is handled and the time its taking for a specialist to even pick up the call is pretty bad.

Re: No internet since Wednesday: Non-Payment Splash Screen preventing access

Now they are saying it will be 'updated' by Friday 5pm.  I commented that this does not mean fixed of course and got the usual evasions about how they are looking into it.
Not one specialist has rung me,  in fact not one person has rung me back with any updates at all bar me contacting them to chase (and then you only get the first line)
I won't be a customer for long at this rate.
