New client however I have modem and line in the house

Hello, how are you?

I just moved into a new house and the former resident left the modem and an active line in that house.

Can I use the same line and transfer to my name? I am entitled to "plusnet £ 50 cash back"

I would not want to pay for a new facility if you already have everything here.

Hi there and apologies for the delayed response

If there's a active line in the property you should be able to transfer that to us.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

Matthew,

Yes, there is an active PlusNet line and the internet will be up and running until the 25th.
The former resident left and left the internet here for me for a few days.

Now I would like to switch to my name and use the line and the modem that is already in the residence.

I don't think PN allow transfer of accounts, and why would you want to, since new customers get good deals and even a new router (you pay for P&P only)?

Providing PN phone and BB on a PN line with PN BB should hopefully not take very long, although reading this forum one never knows.

Sadly we can't switch the account to a different name I'm afraid.

When the line is ceased, I'd head on over to www.plus.net to sign up an account in your name.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.
