New Fibre order but no updates

Made the order on 31st/10/2012
got the txt saying its booked for 26th November 2012.
well its just under 2 days remaining before i get hooked up to fibre but no update.
with all the horror stories iv been reading about BT open reach not turning up and then people getting billed £50 for missing engineer.
well where i live there is CCTV (6 cameras) and if this happens to me then i will be canceling my package and asking for my 12 month in advance line rental back. and then legal advice with be done.
am i just paranoid that they are not going to turn up ?

Hi Killswitch73.
I have just checked your order for you and all is looking good for the completion on the 26th between 8am and 1pm. We anticipate this will go ahead without any problems but you are always welcome to give our team a call to check everything is running smoothly.
With this forum existing for support purposes you may well find reports of missed appointments ect however that is expected given the nature of this community. In most cases the instals will go ahead as planned. Just make sure you available between those hours for the engineer to do his bit.
