New 4 Port Wireless router

Hi everyone,
Just a very brief note to let you know that for any signups on Option 2, 3 or Pro, from tomorrow onwards we're going to be sending out different wireless hardware.
We're going to be sending out Thomson Gateway 585v7 4 port wireless routers, which offer ease of setup, great tolerance on noisy lines and TR-069 capability.  So you may get a call from one of your new referrers, wondering how to set these up.
We've sorted out a few support pages, so you'll know where to look if they need any help Smiley

Feel free to shout up if you have any questions!

I've had my 4 port router for years - I've never upgraded the firmware.
If it ain't broke don't fix it.  Grin

Re: New 4 Port Wireless router

Agreed.  I've lost count of the number of firmware updates that have introduced new problems - Netgear (damn' good routers in all other respects) have had several dodgy firmware updates that did more harm than good.
Only update the firmware to cure a specific problem, and then check the update history first.  The easiest way to bollux up a perfectly good router is to apply an unnecessary firmware update.
