I changed my name a couple of years ago by deed poll and never got round to updating it on my account until now... Looks like the process to sort that is to post here and wait for someone to see it and raise a ticket? Thanks in advance

Hi, I, for other reasons checked directly with plusnet with the same query, a very short while ago The reply was that the only way this can be done is when renewing a broadband account request an axxount name change, or by closing or ending your current account and opening a new account withe user name you require, Don't know if this helps as I am simply a broadband user and do not have any direct pipeline to Plusnet such as moderators.
Looks like you are, like me, stuck with your current user name until either of the above circumstances prevail.

@Moscarella you are correct, you cannot change the username, however I dont believe @evievievievie wishes to do that.
They simply wish to change the name of the account holder. That is perfectly possible if the holder has changed their name due to marriage or by deed poll for example. I'm sure a staff member will be along shortly to raise a ticket so that @evievievievie can supply the relevent documentation of the formal name change
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

@Moscarella The query was obviously about an account name change, not user name, and by the way @MisterW is not Plusnet staff and has no more possession of the facts than you.

Thanks for that, I try to point out myself in all the relevant posts that I myself am just a user because that it is what I am. Anyway, here is a question on my own behalf, Will all email addresses currently supplied by Plusnet, including the whatever@whatever..plus.com vanish completely? couple of my mail addresses have been pawned and it would be nice to know that spam, phishing mails and other garbage will be either bounced or end up in cyberspace after all mail services are moved.
