Mysterious 123 call on my bill

Hi,
I've been looking through my itemised bill and noticed a 123 call made at 05.22 on 31/01! Ive googled this and it's the talking clock!! I have not made this call - it's only 50p but that's not the point. I would like this to be refunded and I will be looking out for this on further bills as there is no valid reason these should mysteriously appear and I be charged.
Many thanks
Hayley

See http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,135360.msg1185967.html#msg1185967
Some engineers dial 123 on lines to find a "spare pair" which is very bad practise.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: Mysterious 123 call on my bill

Evening Hayley.
Welcome to the forums!
Townman is correct - sometimes the engineers will check the line by ringing 123 which I can understand is frustrating, especially when you're paying for it.
I've updated Ticket: 99498166 on your account and hopefully we can resolve this promptly.
Thanks!
