My Referrer isn't getting their discount

I became a Plusnet broadband customer in March and gave the details of the existing customer who referred me. However, they have recently informed me they have not been getting any referral discount off their monthly bills. I don't know whether it is them that needs to contact Plusnet as there is nothing in the Help Guides for this situation.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.
