I'm moving house, so I called Plusnet to move my Phone and broadband account to my new house. It's only down the street, so I definitely want to keep my telephone number. I got through and arranged it all, or so I thought. Since the call this morning, I've received 11 (eleven!) emails from Plusnet about the changes to my account.
My problems are two-fold. Firstly, one email says that the line will be installed 6 days after I move. I don't know why this is necessary as there is a landline there already using BT Openreach.
Secondly, and more worryingly, the last email I received says that another provider has contacted Plusnet to say I'm leaving and I'm liable for £141 in early exit fees. This is news to me! Of course, I now can't get through to Plusnet to clear this up.
