Moving homes where my package cant be supplied

Can anyone tell me what the score is here when your moving into a property where there is no FTTC whatsoever (which I find hard to believe where it is situated), but according to plusnet they can only supply 10MB ADSL, and I currently get 40MB FTTC from Plusnet - 7 months into my contract?

thanks

Re: Moving homes where my package cant be supplied

Well you either

  1. cancel your fttc contract paying the early termination fees
  2. take out a new contract for an ADSL contract at the new house at no extra cost
  3. pay £65 for a house move and get a ADSL contract which runs for the rest of your existing contract period
  4. if the new price rise affects you then the cancel will be free of early exit fees if you do it quickly, just a line cessation fee of £30

Edit to correct house move costs

Re: Moving homes where my package cant be supplied

Hi there @snadge I am sorry to hear we're unable to supply you with fibre broadband at your new address. Pretty much what @SpendLessTime has advised except the house move fee is £65 not £40.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Re: Moving homes where my package cant be supplied

I would rather terminate for £30 than have to drop from 40/2 Fibre for £23 (special offer in December) to 10/1 ADSL for £20

the only Fibre option at the property is Virgin Cable 100/6 at £32 month

thanks for the info guys
