Moving from Virgin, can I do this without any downtime?

Good to hear that's sorted and welcome to the forum :), the answer to this is generally yes.
For the interest of anyone else reading this post who isn't aware. Virgin to both DSL (broadband over copper) and Cable. For the latter a new line install would be needed which can be done usually along side having a working cable service so a lot of that depends on timing the cancellation along side the installation of a new service from us. For the former a straight forward migration using a MAC key usually does the trick.
