Moving from Plusnet to John Lewis before contract ends

My contract with plusnet is up in 2 months so I was taking a look at broadband deals, I found one with John Lewis and signed up thinking it shouldn’t be too difficult as Plusnet should just give me a final bill for the early termination. Not an issue. But John Lewis has sent a message saying there are delays and on their website there are loads of queries stating account rejections etc.

Any success stories or tips to make this go smoothly?

I moved-over to John Lewis from Plusnet about a year ago with no problems whatsoever.

 

I should give them a call and ask what is the delay.

Having taken a look at the account on our side I can't see any issues which would prevent John Lewis Broadband from taking the service over. 

 

Its likely that some manual intervention will be needed from them to get things moving along, I'm sure that will happen in due course but if not you might want to contact themselves directly:
