Moving House - What do i do?

Sorry if this has been asked thousands of times... I'm moving house on 24th August. What do i need to do to ensure the easiest transfer possible?

I have been helping someone else who moved house recently and not knowing the telephone number of the new property caused considerable complications.

Worryingly, when you see what services are in your area, most of the houses on the street are on there but ours isnt....
