Monthly price nearly doubled

Not sure if I'm the only one being affected, but I noticed that my most recent May-June bill has nearly doubled, with line rental now at £28.63 and unlimited broadband at £15.72, plus some wierd positive and negative discounts, bringing my bill up to nearly £42 for one month ( which does include a whole £1.35 for an actual phone call ).

 

Typicaly, my bill is ~£21 per month, since joining in June 2023 and, of course, I'm only 2/3 through an 18-month contract, meanign that cancellation could prove challenging.

 

Anynoe else finding that Plusnet's billing is a little ... interesting and, in this case, nearly 100% more expensive recently.

@david_hay are you sure it was an 18m contract ? It looks like you've reverted to 'out-of-contract' rates , it changing now would be consistent with a 12m contract fro June 23.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Good question, and that's what I was thinking - however, their website - https://www.plus.net/member-centre/home - does confirm that it's an 18-month contract, with 7 months to go :Sad

- Length - 18 months

- Remaining - 7 months

- Start date - 15th Jun 2023

- End date - 14th Dec 202

@david_hay in that case it looks like the billing system has messed up somehow and 'lost' the discounts.

Two options, call CSC or wait for a staff member to pick this up.

NB I'll ask a mod to move it to the billing thread for more visibility to staff

Just noticed this has happened to me too.
I have 4 months left on 18 month contract and the system has failed to do the Unlimited Broadband discount this month.
