Migration to PlusNet (BT Service) from Sky LLU

What is the procedure for migrating to BT based PlusNet Broadband and Telephone Line Rental from an existing SKY LLu service?
Can you keep your Telephone Number?
Do SKY issue a MAC? (Is this still required by PlusNet?)
Is there a connection Fee (or other fee) charged by PlusNet?
Grateful for any answers ... Smiley

Re: Migration to PlusNet (BT Service) from Sky LLU

I swapped over from Sky and did not need a MAC, paid my advance line rental, 1st months costs and delivery charge for router by credit card and everything went through as planned except for a minor blip when Sky pulled the plug before Openreach engineer arrived at the exchange. Now saving quite a bit from when I was with Sky.

Hi Wheel_nut,
It takes about two weeks from the day we place the order, and the number can be retained 99% of the time. If we're unable to retain it, we'll let you know rather than just placing an order and giving you a new one.
No connection fees provided that your line stays active with Sky during the migration.
Feel free to PM me the new account (if there is one) and I'll provision your order for you.
