Migration/billing question

I have decided to move to another isp,now my billing date is always the 21st of every month.

My question is what would be the best date to sign up to another isp,i think it will be BT.Smiley

Re: Migration/billing question

I would doubt that there is such as thing as a good date to start the switch. Starting a switch doesn't give any guarantee as to when it will complete.

There will be at least a 2 week period between sign up and the first date a switch could be done ( OFCOM rules).

Also is you new supplier contract a "special offer" deal? If so, when does the offer period end and that is probably more important to you?

You may end up paying both Plusnet and your new supplier within the same month but hopefully Plusnet will be efficient in any refunds.

Re: Migration/billing question

Well i think it is a deal offer, but not too bothered if it ends, which looking at it again i think it does end within a week or so.

They are always offering new deals,so thinking about it i might wait until just after my next billing date.

Unless keeping an eye out for any new deals in the meantime while i wait.Smiley

Re: Migration/billing question

As SpendLessTime has said, it shouldn't really matter when the service moves away.

As we charge in advance, a refund for downtime due to the migration would be issued back following you leaving.
