Mac code

Hi,  Are MAC codes no longer used? We are thinking of leaving PN as they have put our price up as we are out of contract (we were ready to renew it) and as we only have BB with them the said there was no offer for us unless we give them the phone as well. Told them we are under contract with BT for phone but they were not interested.

Anyway, phoned again a while back to get MAC code and the person I spoke to didnt know what I was on about, he said you just sign up to your new supplier and they do it all for you.

 Is this correct ?

As its over 8 years we have been at PN things night have changed in that time.

Thanks

Re: Mac code

@Nige62 Broadband transfers are now Gaining Provider Lead - In other words, you sign up with a new provider, and hopefully they do all the legwork for you, without the potential error that can creep in under the old system.
