I've just realised that my line rental saver expired yesterday, and I have been sent the next bill which includes the monthly line rental fee. If I start a new line rental saver will I still have to pay one month's line rental on top? If so would it be best to wait until next month to start another line rental saver, or is there a way I can set it up now to start next month? I tried to phone customer services earlier but there was a long queue.
Also I've noticed that the package I was going to switch to (unlimited broadband) is on offer for £2.50 a month. Is there any way existing customers can get this deal?
Thanks in advance.

If you order Line Rental Saver mid billing period it comes into force on your next billing date, so you won't be paying twice for the current month.
If you are prepared to re-contract it could be worth calling the Customer Options/Retentions Team to see what deals they can offer. They are on 0845 140 6002 or 0330 123 9197, or via 0800 432 0200 and select the 'thinking of leaving' option; they are available Monday to Friday 9.00am - 8.00pm (except Bank Holidays) and Saturday 9.00am - 5.30pm. Note that the £2.50 offer involves an 18 month contract, 12 months at £2.50, 6 months @ £9.99 (in a market 1 area).
