Line rental saver + new contract issue

My current contract is due to end this September, however, having paid the line rental saver fee last year, it means the line rental will end this November. With the two end dates not being in sync, it’s causing some issues.

I have a new contract in place for this Sept, however, I want to align the months so that the line rental and contract will end at the same i.e Sept 2022, and not end up having to pay hiked prices for the 2 month difference. Is there anyway to resolve this?

Line rental saver is no longer offered - so you will pay the line rental price agreed in your contract that starts in September.

@MK1   Welcome to the forum.

Plusnet no longer offer LRS so at the end of your current LRS year you will be charged the monthly price every month.

I think there appears to be a misunderstanding. I’m aware the line rental saver has ended; the problem is my current contract ends this September. The line rental saver which I signed up for last year, will end this November for me; there is a two month difference in the contract end date and the line rental date.

i will be commencing on a new contract with PN this September, however, i would like the line rental fee which is part of the new contract, to align with this date and start at the same time i.e Sept, not November.

That should happen automatically. You just need to keep your eye on the bill and come back if there’s a problem.

^ Am I correct in assuming the fees for the 2 month difference will be credited? Or is there another workaround this issues.

You'll pay no line rental until November, that is in your favour - not sure why you'd want to pay more?
It won't change the end date of your new contract.

^ I certainly don’t wish to pay more! For clarification, does this mean my new contract (line rental/broadband/calls) will end in Sept 22? Will the remaining two months of the line rental saver automatically merge with my new contract, thereby suggesting I would only have to pay for 10 months line rental after November.
