Line rental saver and fibre upgrade

My phone and broadband are both handled by Plusnet. I’m currently on ADSL Unlimited but am looking to upgrade to Fibre Unlimited in the next month or so.

My Line Rental Saver is due for renewal on 09/02/2017. I’m not sure how to get the timing right for the LRS renewal and the fibre upgrade to get the best deal.

My questions are:

How can I retain the LRS during the upgrade process?

If I renew the LRS now (before the fibre upgrade), how will this affect the monthly cost of the
fibre package when I do upgrade?

How do I get the timing right for the LRS renewal and the fibre upgrade to get the best deal?

LRS is unaffected by the upgrade process

Getting the best price - it would be best to phone Customer Options 0800 013 2632. (I am thinking of leaving) to see what they will offer having checked with the prices from the competition before renewing your LRS

Hi @j123, thanks for contacting us on the forums and a warm welcome.

I can only concur with what @Oldjim has said. Call Customer Options and they will get the best deal they can for a fibre upgrade. In addition, renewal emails for LRS are usually sent out to Customers about 2 weeks before it expires.
