Line rental saver and cancellations

I've only just renewed my line rental saver, as I had another 11 months left on my contract so thought I'd sit it out and look for offers at the end of my contract. Now that I've been given an out (the email received earlier today), seems like I might as well shop around for a better offer now instead.


I'll give Plusnet a call tomorrow, but just wondered if anybody has had any experience with cancelling when their account is effectively in credit due to line rental saver. Problem free experience or should I start to panic?...

Haven't had personal experience of this, but if you read the following:

... it seems to be clear that you are entitled to a refund of any unused advance payments, including line rental saver.

I can confirm you'll receive a pro-rata refund of any unused line rental saver if you do decide to leave this because of the price refresh comms.
