Line rental confusion

Hi all

My current line rental saver ends on 31.7.16 and my BB contract ends on 6.7.16. If I take a new contract before 6.7.16 and pay line rental saver, will the original LNR end date not be taken into account?

In other words, would I be charged for line rental as soon as I renew my contract (before 6.7.16)?

Thanks.

Re: Line rental confusion

If you take out a new Line rental saver, it will start when the current one ends. So you shouldn't lose out. Note that the current line saver isn't that much of a saving.

Re: Line rental confusion

Thanks.  And you're definitely sure I wouldn't be charged for line rental until the previous one ends?

And re. the cost; I guess it's cheaper than paying it every month and also when compared to other ISPs.

Re: Line rental confusion

Fix

Yes, it will definitely start when the current one expires.

Plusnet allow the renewal up to 3 months before the current one ends so it would be stupid of them to force you to lose those months. Not to say against their T&C's. The only time you forfeit Line Rental Saver is if you leave Plusnet before the end of the 12 month period.

The yearly saving currently is £18 (If I recall correctly)

Re: Line rental confusion

Thanks again. And I spoke to someone on the online chat, and they more or less confirmed what you've said: that the new LRS will start when the previous one expires.
