I know it's off topic, but the banging out pop music (and I do mean banging!) whilst waiting on hold is not conducive to clear thinking and preparation for the next part of the discussion. I wish companies would realise this. Some quiet gentle music, and I doesn't necessarily have to be classical music, is much preferable.
There would be a problem if Plusnet provided quiet gentle music. The caller would fall asleep long before the call was picked up.
