I knew I could rely on Plusnet to sort this out.......eventually.  I will renew my LRS shortly.  Hopefully you won't hear from me for at least another year!   
(Matty, you'll be pleased to know that Katie is very pleased  with her landline and broadband.  Trouble is, now we can't get her off the phone!  At least it all worked out well in the end.).
