Leaving Plusnet - What Do I need To Do

Seeing as our monthly bill is now £40 for the Unlimited Fibre Extra Package (compared to the current offer of £27.99 a month for the same package), and well over 2 months of a Ticket I raised which in my opinion, has been ignored, regarding Safeguard not working, is time to leave

Do I just join another ISP and let them do the changeover from their end, or do I need to contact Plusnet, as I assume I am now on a monthly rolling contract and can cancel anytime without penalty fees

Thanks

Re: Leaving Plusnet - What Do I need To Do

Don't cancel Plusnet, that's asking for all sorts of trouble. Just sign up with your new ISP and let them sort the transfer for you.

If you want to avoid the price increase just ring customer services, select the 'I'm thinking of leaving' option, tell them the new ISPs price and the chances are Plusnet will match it.

Hopefully your safeguard query will get attention now you've raised it here.

I started a separate thread here HERE on the 2nd November about the Safeguard issue and nothing is getting done...just constantly getting the raised Ticket put on Hold then Off Hold
