Landlord ruling

My landlord (housing association) has informed me that I will have to cancel my broadband subscription and sign up to their provider as they will no longer allow engineers etc access to the building for fire safety reasons. How much would it be to cancel my account just now please?

Re: Landlord ruling

Really? What does your tenancy agreement say about broadband providers?  As long as you have a OR/BT phone line and use an ISP that uses  it then no engineer is required, and I don't see how they could possibly justify or enforce such a rule.

I would speak to Citizens Advice.

BTW If you have one of those tumble driers that burst into flames would the landlord prevent an engineer from entering the property to fix it?
