Re: JTN Referrals

Could this process be made easier?
We setup domain names on behalf of our clients, clicking on a banner link on our own website before setting up a new domain (and closing the browser etc before) is such a drag, as such we don't tend to do this - could you not introduce a system similar to that here on PlusNet where an email address (or similar) could be entered.
While also on the subject of JTN - how about adding postcode lookup for address completion?

Re: JTN Referrals

Hi
JTN will hopefully be looked at in the future to allow all the things that you have asked for. At present though, we are currently working with PAYH (http://www.payh.co.uk). Once we are happy that PAYH is moving forwards then we will be able to continue updating JTN.

Re: JTN Referrals

Can you make the sign up page https:// it is not good practise to have sign up pages not encrypted, I signed up but I was not happy that it was not encrypted.
Does Pay As You Host have a referrals program? and if it does, is it encrypted for signing up?
What would be bettere would be to be able to have referrals for all of PlusNet's sister companies on My Referrals, could you do that?
So you would have PlusNet Banners, Pay As You Host Banners, Just The Name Banners, all in one plase watt is a lot better, plus My Referrals is all ready encrypted.  Wink

Re: JTN Referrals

Hi Mark  "Pay As You Host" signup is not a referrals program, and yes that one is encrypted.  Just The Name is not encrypted for signing up for the referrals program, wen you put in https://www.just-the-name.co.uk/referrer_signup.shtml see screen shot for the rezult that you get.

Gary, you screen shot has a padlock symbol on the bottom right, that means it is secure

Re: JTN Referrals

Cheers Gary, good spot. I'll have a word with the web team and either confirm that the form submission is secure or confirm that there's a problem raised to get it sorted for you.
Thanks for that.
